Required Knowledge, Skills, and Credentials

  • "BSEE, or equivalent degree
  • 3-5 years analysis, design and debug experience in one or more of the following analog subsystems
  • Tx/Rx chain
  • Low Noise Amplifiers (LNA)
  • High dynamic range systems
  • Synthesizers / Phase Lock Loops (PLL)
  • Power Amplifiers (PA)
  • Power Supplies (PS)
    oMixers
  • Discrete analog design experience
  • Filter design experience
  • Frequency Plan analysis experience
  • Power Model analysis experience
  • Use of Smith Charts
  • Capable of getting a security clearance

Major Responsibilities

  • Design, analyze, simulate, implement, and test analog circuitry for communications applications at frequencies from DC through 4 GHz.
  • Computer simulations of analog designs using tools such as spreadsheet analysis, Matlab, Mathcad, Pspice, ADS, Eagleware, Libra, Touchstone, Sonnet and Microwave Office.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Understanding of signal processing and digital communications techniques
  • Programming skills
  • MSEE, or equivalent degree.
