Required Knowledge, Skills, and Credentials
- At least 2 years developing embedded and node level software for Ethernet Transport applications hardware abstraction layer
software and device drivers.
- Object oriented programming abilities
- Strong coding skills, capable of writing high-quality code
- Basic understanding of Ethernet protocols IEEE 802.1D and 802.1Q
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Comprehensive problem-solving abilities

Major Responsibilities and Daily Job Activities
- The Ethernet Transport Embedded
Software role focuses on embedded development and node level software for Ethernet Transport applications. You need to have recent expertise in Ethernet technology, and embedded systems
development, combined with the software skills required to manage scalable object-models.

Desired Skills and Experience
- Linux and programming for Linux
- Knowledge of hardware components Ethernet Switches, PHYs and similar
- embedded devices
- Interest in and experience with Python and next-generation programming methods
- Understanding of platform boot-up and device drivers
- Relevant IEEE and ITU requirements
